It's Not Gaming. It's Gambling.

For the moment, I’m setting aside all drafts of this post. They come across as too ponderous, too pious, and too preachy.

Instead, I’ll make a couple of simple points.

Point One: Gaming is a euphemism for gambling.

Point Two: Gambling is not economic development. It’s economic dislocation.

’Nuff said. (At least for now, anyway.)
